The eOne Music Group is excited to herald the success of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones's recent release, Rocket Science. The highly anticipated reunion record, which marks their first recording together in 20 years, immediately jumped to #1 on both Billboard's Jazz Charts and Soundscan's Jazz Charts. Released on May 17th to resounding critical acclaim, Rolling Stone noted that Rocket Science "finds the Grammy Award-winning group still in fine progressive form."

The Flecktones' North American tour route began in May with a stop at the Summer Camp Festival in Chillicothe' IL, followed by a pair of spectacular performances at the Bonnaroo Festival of Music and Arts and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival--some of the strongest of their nearly 25 year career. The Flecktones will also play four major jazz festivals in Canada; Saskatchewan, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.

The collaboration of Bela Fleck (banjo), Howard Levy (piano/harmonica), Victor Wooten (bass), and Roy "Futureman" Wooten (percussion/Drumitar) has been leaving audiences mesmerized, surprising fans with groundbreaking compositions and nontraditional improvisation. After a recent show, the Charleston City Paper declared, "[their] virtuosity is so pervasive that it's actually more efficient to leave your dropped jaw on the ground and simply wait to pick it up until the band stops playing."

The response to Rocket Science has been enthusiastic across the board. The Philadelphia Inquirer was impressed by its return to the "the subtler, jazz and classically-inflected acoustic swing of Bela Fleck & The Flecktones in their youth." No Depression, wowed by the musicianship of the Flecktones, noted, "Rocket Science is just that - an extraordinary collection of tunes by unbelievably talented musicians at the height of their craft - a real science project." "The playing throughout Rocket Science," The Republican agrees, "is consistently out of this world."

Cock Sparrer are widely considered to be one of the most influential Street Punk bands in history.

2012 sees them celebrate their 40th Anniversary.

The thing about Sparrer is that they're not just a band. They are childhood friends and have been making a noise since they got together way back in 1972. They were playing, drinking, going to football and generally making a nuisance of themselves when the late 1970s punk scene started in London. Finally it seemed that there were hundreds of like-minded people with the same attitude.

Rarely do a band get the reaction that these guys do. A Cock Sparrer show is an event. It's like cup final day. A family singalong. Theirs is a career in reverse, they're bigger now than they ever were. Regularly headlining all the major punk festivals in Europe and occasionally hitting the US to headline events such as Punk Rock Bowling and Riot Fest.

This year is a year of celebration-- with friends. And to start it off the band are hooking up with RANCID, who themselves are celebrating 20 years together, for a joint show on 23rd March at the Warfield in San Francisco.

Cock Sparrer -- 40 years on, still five blokes in a pub, five mates having a laugh, more than just a band.
